Cha Cha Cha
Cha Cha Cha, part of the salsa dance family, is also a Latin American dance of Cuban origin. First gaining popularity in the 1950s, known often as the “triple mambo”, Cha Cha Cha is an upbeat dance variation with a distinct playfulness.
As a fun loving, smooth and innovative social dance, Cha-cha-cha utilizes the same basic moves learned in Salsa, while adding a quick syncopated step, making the dance even more exuberant and extra smooth. The dance consists of three quick steps (the “cha cha cha” triple step) and two slower steps. You can dance the Cha-cha-cha to authentic Cuban music, Latin Pop, Latin Rock, and even mainstream pop hits.
All levels are welcome, no cha-cha experience necessary.
Cadence Dance Academy offers and cha-cha classes in the Toronto and Pickering area.
